About La Finca & La Cabana
Originally purchased as our home on the island, La Finca offers all we were looking for. A tranquil location away from the bustle of the resorts, yet with convenient access to all amenities, and stunning views over Timanfaya National Volcanic Park and to the sea beyond, La Finca exceeded all of our expectations. Located just outside the pretty village of Yaiza, the island's beaches, resorts and attractions are within very easy reach.
La Cabana nestles beside La Finca separate in it's own private, walled courtyard setting. It offered friends and family the option to stay in the the privacy of their own separate accommodation. With it's own separate driveway, they could also come and go in freedom without disturbing the main house (La Finca).
Guests who might prefer a smaller cottage for their holiday getaway, La Cabana is for you !
NB - for guests privacy and enjoyment, we do not holiday let both properties at the same time.
Please be aware that as owners we might, occasionally, use one or the other but we are very aware of the importance of guests holiday time and can assure that even if present there is no impact on guest privacy whatsoever !!!

Eco Friendly
Situated in a rural reserve we have kept La Finca as eco-friendly as possible.
Solar panels provide electricity for the house during the day and charge the batteries for night time power.
In the event Mother Nature requires some help, there is a computer controlled generator - in it's own building away from the house - that is automatically started and stopped if required.
The sun is also harnessed to heat the pool. The filtration system circulates the water through a large black 'mat' on the roof where the solar gain warms the water on it's journey back to the pool.
Gas is used for the range cooker and also the efficient boilers that heat the water on demand. We minimise the appliances that use electricity to generate heat so although we have a washing machine (cold washes please !) we do without a dishwasher and fancy coffee machines ...
A stay at La Finca can be enjoyed knowing you are also reducing your carbon footprint !
